Welcome to RafflasiaRafflasia, the land of intelligent beings that are immune...I mean..exempted from the pains and sorrows of mugging. And in this land of green pastures ( literally) there exists a heaven for the greatest minds in the whole of Singapore to research, investigate and discover new innovations in running our intelligent, tiny island nation. And, to facilitate to these great minds, we need to have state of the art facilities, proudly sponsored by their rich parents and the generous donations from tax payers like us.
The grand LT, which is HUGE! Compare it to the size of MJ's LT4, it's just..err..damn big! And the air-con is super cold too! MJ's budget air conditioning is no match.The
HUGE atrium. And they have 3 of them. (I think more than 3..) Our Atrium is only a quarter the size.
And they even have a 7-Eleven and a POSB ATM. Think about having one at MJ! Though I have a good suggestion. Especially for those who don't want to mop floor every day: Let's franchise out perkafe to 7-Eleven!
The RJSC is nice enough to create a welfare department. And guess what's one of their initiatives? Mega Mugging Madness? I think that should be done by MJSC. "Meridian Mega Mugging Madness" MMMM. This brings us to...

I shall not elaborate much about it cuz CHINGAY IS A DISASTER. Given the poor management and organisaional skills of the Sector IC's and EXCO, I will be greatly relieved if the event did'nt encounter a major problem, less to say run smoothly. The chaoticness is 100x worser than NAP Astro and 10000x worser than the worst Biz Club meetings. Ask any of your friends who went today. And the shirt looks DAMN GAY this year! OMG!

Chingay!Chingay training today was quite sian if you were to compare it with MJ orientation or astro camp. This is largely because the whole event was quite disorganized..i mean VERY disorganized that it started 45mins late. The "orientation" games were very lame and almost all of them have been played before. The very first game, Whacko was the lamest cuz I've played it countless times since Sec1.
I joined Chingay is ofcourse is for other reasons such as....err..knowing new friends and knowing old friends better? I liked my group alot cuz mst of the members have some form of connection to my social network. First of all, there's JX from TK Sec4B 2006, who invited me to join Chingay in the first place, then there's her friend, Pei Qian, from VJ. we also have 3 Meridian Freshies, Joshua, Angeline and Christine, where the 2 girls are twins born on 11.09.1991! Very nice number! We also have this guy from TPJC, I think he's called "Minky"? And our GIC is...none other than Zhi Ling from 07S204 and TK Sec4C 2006! LOL..quite coincidental to be in the same group.
We also got to mingle around with other groups where I got to know a few other Meridians and some people from YJC.
Anyway, thankyou to JX for inviting me to join and Desmon and Geraldine for sharing their last year Chingay experience with me and insiring me to join. =)

Biz Club CEO Mr Han En Chou was spotted on Wednesday dancing with Geraldine in a "romantic" setting with numerous witnesses. This has been greatly applauded by many of the freshies and seniors alike. Let's hope they have a happy ending shall we? I know EC will say NO and Geraldine will strangle me when I see her on Monday morning..XD
