Getting interviewed LIVE on Channel 8

For some strange reason, EC and me were sabo-ed to represent PerKafe to be interviewed by Channel8 on '早安你好". So we err...went to Mediacorp Studios @ Caldecott hill early in the morning to get shot. (yea..shot..literally) Looked really malu on screen and gave some really funny answers to the questions from the news-reporter. the studio was quite small but roomy. In conclusion, a geat cool and funky experience that I'll never try again. For modesty purposes, I shall not upload the footage of our interview. I dun wana torture your eyes and ears.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY CHARLES!(CAOS)!!!

Monday happened to be Charles' birthday and we decided to give him a spanking start to being 18 with some whipped cream! (Kindly sponsored by the cake from JiaXin. Thanks!)

And as part of VS tradition, guys are supposed to get taupok-ed on their birthdays. And despite graduation or almost 2 years, all the VS guys present still carried on with it. TAUPOK!!!! Poor Charles looks as if he kena b***-ed

Random Biz Club Meeting

EC calls for a meeting regarding the settling of the posts for the new J1 EXCO. WHich happened to be more like "who's like'who" contest.

Anyway, this is Desmond, who is going to replace me. That's because his saikang skills is very powderful. Better than claning auntie,JianXin and Hayden put together.

And just like Hayden, Desmond also has his angels! =)

Next week is gona be damn busy. TV Interviews and lots and lots of tests. And I am very sure all of us fellow muggers are mugging like crazy as if they have been seriously addicted.

FHA 2008:

Today, a handful of us had them opportunity to visit FHA trade fair 2008 where we got a truck load of gourmet food waiting for us to digest. And best of all, it's all FREE! (Well, not all..but even if youi have to pay, they're way way way way...WAY below market price.

Our primary objectives were to search for good suppliers of ice-cream, more attractive packaging, and new products. This was the job for our J1's(denise,Janson,Li An). As for the J2's( JiaXian,Mabel,Geraldine,your's truly) we had the opportunity to walk walk eat eat and see for ourselves the granduer of an international trade fair. And I've gotta swear, I've never seen anything of that scale before.

And the suppliers, especially the Ang Mo ones are very generous! they give samples like free flow, and in HUGE qunatities! They're like" you want samples? Nah, take that box. the whole thing." And we're like "OMG! THANKYOU!=)"

There was even this section selling meat and they would cook for you (provided you belong to an association of chefs) they also had pavillions of many countries, from Spain to Australia, Taiwan to Japan, Hong Kong to Singapore and..lots lots more!

Mugging @ Changi-With Kat & Javier
Some uneventful and eventful mugging today @ Changi. Uneventful because I was very productive as I have finish half of my thermocehmistry tutorial. YAY! And I still have statistics tommorow and Summary for Binomial and Poisson (more like poison) distibution to submit. SiAnzzz...
Eventful because..hmm..well, our normally not too violent not too explosive Kat has learnt alot from Shuhuan! Let's start with vandalizing other people's assignment. Both Javier and I kena-ed lots of smiley faces on our tutorials with all thanks to "yours' truly". Lucky she did it in pencil (See...Kat is a good Kat u noe..) if not our tutors are gona return our work to us with this =/ "What is this?!?!" kind of look.
We prank-called JiaXian today 2 times. And we got some very funny responses...I wonder if JiaXian ever prank-called Kat before...hmmm...I wonder....or is he too scared to do so??? (hint hint...XD)

We May Be Defeated But We Still Stand Tall

Today is another year of outdoor band central judging and the giving out of the "display band of the year" award.
TK did quite well, or should I say, much better than what I had expected cuz from what kat told me, it was..err..not as good as our year. But overall, it was just as stunning as we had always been with our magic still captivating the audiences.
When our rival Bowen came in, we had a shock cuz they kind of..err..screwed up...so I shall not talk too much about it. But anyway, good effort on the part of Bowen.
Deyi really gave us the shock of our lives. They were just damn good. And their magic was just as good as, or should I say surpassed that of TK's. From that point on, i was like," shit..I'm now soo worried we won't win" And sure enough, after holding the coveted title for 10 consecutive years, we lost it to Deyi, just like that.

Cheerleading:
Midway through the performance, Sam came up to me and dragged me to help the junior councilors who were underperforming in thier cheer-leading skills. Hmm...bad idea to scream like no one's business at this time of the year. So this will guarantee me a very "sexy' voice on Monday. Cough! Cough!
Met up with some of my juniors whom I've not met for quite some time. And they sure changed alot! arrghh! I got fooled a few times. Crystal went to DiSiao me
cuz she looked soo different after wearing contacts. And she was like" Hayden, do you recognize me??" haha!
Ofcourse, I have to mention our Sec4B classmates, Hanif,JonK, SiewMin, PeiZhen,Pris, LiLin, Kim....for turning up today. Also need to mention Koktong, Ken, HoaKiat,Sam...and everyone else who came back to support. And Shuhuan, for makaning with us laksa.=)
I shall also give credit to JiaXian, Chares and Javier for coming under orders from kat to watch even though they're from VS.
Last but not least, Kat herself for giving me all the info and dragging all of us here.=) Thanks!

TK marching back soon after they announced our defeat. We may have lost, but we lost with honour and dignity. We may weep but we must also pick ourselves up to face the challenges ahead. There's still indoor competition next year, and 2 years later, we will be facing Deyi again to reclaim our title back from them. Let them be our seat-warmer for a while cuz... We Will Be Back Again!

Finally, let's give TK Band a cheer for all their hard work and effort put in. And for winning us a "GOLD WITH HONOURS", an honour enjoyed only by TK and Deyi. =)

PW Results:
Congratulaitons to MJ for doing SOOOO well for PW this year! Must thank all of us for all our blood sweat and curses! And ofcourse, our tutors who had to bear all the crap we sent in and all the blood and sweat we splurted out! thanks so much!
Congratulations to all who did well! For those who are not very happy with their results, don't give up! Cuz there's still A levels ahead! Work hard and Jiayou!
Random Stuff @ the Dinner Table
While having dinner with Kat, JiaXian and Javier yesterday, we all got bored and did some stupid things, which probably caught the attention of some cleaning aunties.
