Today, a handful of us had them opportunity to visit FHA trade fair 2008 where we got a truck load of gourmet food waiting for us to digest. And best of all, it's all FREE! (Well, not all..but even if youi have to pay, they're way way way way...WAY below market price.
Our primary objectives were to search for good suppliers of ice-cream, more attractive packaging, and new products. This was the job for our J1's(denise,Janson,Li An). As for the J2's( JiaXian,Mabel,Geraldine,your's truly) we had the opportunity to walk walk eat eat and see for ourselves the granduer of an international trade fair. And I've gotta swear, I've never seen anything of that scale before.
And the suppliers, especially the Ang Mo ones are very generous! they give samples like free flow, and in HUGE qunatities! They're like" you want samples? Nah, take that box. the whole thing." And we're like "OMG! THANKYOU!=)"

Another local brand of expensive ice-cream. And it's FREE ofcourse! We also had FREE Swenson's ice-cream! This is better than an Ben & Jerry's "Free Cone Day"!

Some more free food! And they're seriously damn high class! There was even this section selling meat and they would cook for you (provided you belong to an association of chefs) they also had pavillions of many countries, from Spain to Australia, Taiwan to Japan, Hong Kong to Singapore and..lots lots more!
