AIIYYYAAA!!!
I have no idea what I shall write. Anyway, I'm starting to feel the "holiday" stress coming. Why stress? You ask. In Meridian, holidays are meant for extra lessons to fill up the gaps we missed during E-learning days, public holidays and all other itty bits that we cannot finished because we are a bunch of hopeless muggers who need that extra injection of knowledge just to pass our exams. ARRGGHHH!
Anyway, just wana thank Siuyin and Zimin who have been mugging with me all this while, especially today, which was one of the more porductive days of the month.
EXORO:
To the MJ teams, Jiayou! You can will do MJ proud! =)

Mid Exam Post:
Finally! I have ONE more bloody China Studies paper before I get temporarily liberated from mugging...at least until January next year..Hurray!
Here are some mugging related stuff that happened during the past few weeks.
First of all, I had a bunch of really nice people who always mugged with me during this torturous monthy, hopefully we'll all get promoted..thanks guys! U rock!
One of the more interesting mugging events included Mr Chee's birthday which we "celebrated" for him....

Part of the card we made for him. We bought him a mooncake. Topped with a relightable candle...which did'nt work....haizzz...If not we could've made him hyperventilate and faint or something...oops! =)
Another event worthy of mentioning is our Mug-trip to our nation's famous Budget Terminal. This has got to be one of the best kept secret places to mug. First of all, traffic here is EXTEREMELY low..during our entire afternoon there, we saw only 2 flights. One for Vietnam, the other from Bangkok. So you effectively have the ENTIRE airport terminal to yourself, including the cleaner auntie and S'pore Tourism Board uncle. And you don't get the zillions of kids and Angmos and Chinese tourists in the other 2 terminals which recieve a zillion flights daily. Oh and the coffee machine at the terminal is worth mentioning. It gives you a much larger serving than the one in school and you also get to play with the controls which give you some random coffee which tastes quite good.

The interior of the machine. It's maintained by Coke by the way...

Some post Exam De-Mugging activities:

KBox is definitely one of the best places to de-stress and de-mug. Take Daniel here for example...sing until his mouth open wide wide....Hmmm...he seems troubled...Photo courtesy of Mabel Ng. Photoshoped by hayden

Contradictions....So in the end you still can't smoke inside...

One of the funnier neo-prints we took. Due to our negligible understanding of Jap language, we clicked the wrong key....so we had a blank neo-print...nice right?

During Exam events:
Day1:
Let's start with GP and Chinese. GP was slightly more survivable than Mid-years. The essay was barely manageable. I wrote on the computers question. The compre was a killer as usual. It was just F***ing cheem sprinkled with lots of cheemalologies and highly "British" terms that Chinese educated peiople like me have a hell of a time understanding. As Jamie Oliver once said,"Bloody hell!" This phrase should be a fitting description.
Chinese was OK. The compre was cheem...but I think it's pass-able.
Day2:
No papers. Went school to mug. Joined in the afternoon with the usual mugging clique. Spent lots of time mugging geog and memorizing mechanisms for Chem. This was damned bloody pissing me off as the events on Day3 would show...
Day3:
Geog: We flipped open the insert hoping that the topic on Mass Movement would come out as hinted. No, It was weathering. and we were shown a crazy picture of limestone which looks like granite. Wonderful! So every one of us "happily" took out our battered pens and we started to smoke.....
Chem: I have only one word to describe it: FUCK! That's all I'm going to say. Not worth spatting about all the shit that happened. It was a bloody waste of time and it made no difference if I ponned the paper.
Day4:
It rained like all hell broke loose this morning. Maths was Ok and I'm glad to say I can pass this paper. Thankyou Miss Lee! And Thankyou maths department for your mercy! Yay!

Oh well, time to end my half day of slacking and re-start my mug-mode for my China Studies paper. Gosh what a stupid timetable! I could have been liberated earlier! 谁叫我那么活该?!

Exams:

Our torture is finally over! But don't so happy yet. Here's a likely outcome of what will happen to us, which is depended on the hardness of our papers.

Geog:
Probably the worst Geog peper I have ever seen in my life. The data-based questions were still okay. But the worst thing was the essays. We had an essay which was practically..errr..cheem..cuz i don't understand the English. I'll be really lucky if I passed.

Chem:
This paper was murder. People who finished the paper were considered lucky. Those who did'nt are considered normal while those who said it was do-able have got to be insane. This is the most murderous paper in my life! And it's just soo damn F***ing crazy! The MCQ was impossible to do..such that all of my answers were C. (I tikam-ed) he Section B was even more killer with a whole load of freakish numbers that are worser than math. Section C was the only part that was barely reasonable. But it was sad very few people could make it there to even attempt them. You are considered lucky if you got a U for this paper.

Math:
Much better than I expected. Most questions are do-able except question 8 which is the wierdest AP GP question I have ever seen. The Binomial was wierd too. But at least I can expect a Sub-Pass

Chinese:
Passable but not Ace-able. The passage by Lu Shun was dificult all thanks to the wierd questions thaey asked. But overall it's still do-able and most people who speak and write decent Chinese should get at least a D.

CSE:
Slightly better than I expected. But I think I wrote out of point for one SBQ. Shi Rong got himself malu-ed today by telling everyone how he was able to memorize all the notes...wow..and what a good boy he is..wah...like real...Then Mr Yeo coldly told him," Even if you studied you may not apss. make Linkages okay?"
Dots...Lucky it was do-able..Sub-Pass I guess.

World of Lily Wong-By Larry Feign
The world of Lily Wong is a comic by Larry Feign which basically pokes at being the life of a Hong Konger. These strips ran on the SCMP until 1995 until they stopped. they were then printed on the Hong Kong Standard until 2001. Some of these comics are compiled into a book "Banned in Hong Kong" which is ironically ONLY available in Hong Kong at most major booksellers.
Characters:
Lily Wong: The typical Hong Kong Secretary
Stuart Wright: Lily's wife. A dull "gwailo"(gwailo means white man in canto)
Rudy Wong:Lily's gangsterish brother(Singlish:Beng)
Mum and Dad: Lily's parents. Who are'nt very traditional...
Crystal:Lily and Stuart's baby daugther
Erma: Their Filipina Maid.
My Bilingual Beauty: Art of growing up in Hong Kong
