GP
Oh well, had our mental excercise this morning with our really mind-boggling GP paper. Paper One was not too difficult cuz i wrote the easiest Topic: mass media. paper Two was the Killer. We were given this cheemo passage about Money and happiness and we had to answer a bunch of questions all in own words, even the summary. (This is worse dan Os cuz Os u still can copy n re-arange the words. This time they want total change to the words and phrases.) The first few questions were rather understandable. But the last questions and the summary was the part that literally killed us off. Most of us were silently swearing at the questions cuz we have no idea of what they want. oh well, I might as well swear here to show the severity: KNNCCB!!! Thankyou.

Learning "Journey"

This learning journey turned out to be a makan and misbehave session. Our class first created havoc at marina KFC by re-arranging their tables. We then started crapping about "sensitive topics" whcih led to sudden outbursts of laughter and screams from the table. So much so that some of the lights actually "auto-turn-offed" a few times while we were there.

Our visit to Esplanade was equally crazy. We "proposed" to Mrs chua on the roof-top with our bouquet of Farrero Rocher Chocs(Sorry..i think i spell wrong..hehe). We also had an ice-cream treat from Haagen Daz. Cuz HQ used to work at their Esplanade branch. So the Person In-charge there(Not manager...I think?) gave us double scoop for the price of one! He's like so good! And i can tell you the ice-cream there is unmatchable. If you thought Perkafe ice-cream was nice, try Haagen Daz..you'll never regret spending that $4.90. Really....once a life-time must try.
Oh well, I'd better let the pics do the talking...=)

Art really connects people. Like this high-rise window cleaner, who has his life hung on a piece of art: The Durian!

Oversized Durian....persoanlly, I find the esplanade more like an oversized fruit delicacy rather than a artistic building as some people claim. Besides, I have started to like durians. They may smell like (HK ppl like to call them cat shit cuz thery kinda smell like that) but their taste is.....one word: heavenly!

Pirates of the Carribean
After our learning journey, the whole level of J1s were required to report to Shaw Towers to watch Pirates of Carribean( At World's End). apparently MJ booked the ENTIRE theatre just for us! And the theatre was HUGE! It could seat like more than 900 people. Best of all, all the audience is" your own people" so everyone could laugh or cheer without feeling malu. So the whole theatre was really noisy with all of us laughing and cheering all the while. The movie rocked totally. First of all, the music( aiya...hear every year from TK Band...but it does refreshes my memory....oh man..i really miss cheering for them and doing council cheer-leading..hehe!) Ok..so the music was wonderful, and the story was great too. The best part was where Will proposed to Elizabeth during the battle between the Pirates and Davy Jones. The scene was very tense, but the "Proposal" of marriage made the scene hilarious. The whole theatre was like laughing throughout. Another funny part was a small scene when jack Sparrow asked his dad about his mum. It was like:
Sparrow: So how's mum?
Dad:(Shows sparrow a skull)
Sparrow: Oh you look great!
wahlau...his expression damn funny la...
And one last thing for people planning to watch this film. REMEMBER to stay behind after the credits cuz there's still a samll part after it to end off the story. it's a scene of "Ten years later" when Will......I'll not elaborate..go watch n find out...go watch the show okay!
And I just remembered that I missed Campus Superstar tonight. arrgghh! I wana hear Hysen Lim sing! Later we can mae him singe during Biz Club!

Passport Photos:
We had our passport photos taken today. And as expected, we all looked super funny on them. Worse of all is this stupid regulation that we are not allowed to show our teeth in the photo. Gosh! Can't the immigration just have some blardy sense of humour and allow someone to smile? No wonder our government had to force us to "smile" with their "4 million smiles" campaign last year. LoL..

As for today, I was "priviliged" to get involved in a paticular insomnia treatment: sleep Induction. Today's lectures are really putting me to sleep. I justn could'nt concentrate. CSE was the worst. I had to listen to a steady stream of french with regards to Confucionism and i was brought to the brink of dosing off.

Collosium Heats
Today marks the first day of trails for collosium, MJ's "sports day". Today, our class battled with 07A301 over....Captains Ball. Our opponents were quite rough but they were good..and fast..so..obviuosly, we came in second.( Which means we lost la..) anyway, we're all winners so it was overall a good game and everyone put in their best. And most important of all..we had FUN!

Why I'm so pissed?
Cuz that bloody piece of plastice did permanent damge to my bag.
That bloody idiot nearly put me in hospital.
Why I'm not pissed.
That piece of shit could have hit my head. And I won't be sitting here typing out this post.

Bean's Holiday Movie
Went to watch Bean with fellow Media people Ying,Sp and Ken. The storyline of the movie was quite stupid and impossible and most likely Mr Bean would never had made his way to Cannes in the real world. Though the movie was quite entertaining. personally I thought the scene on the train (to Cannes) was the best. I really liked the way that French Boy slapped his face!
We also saw many people we knew before and after the movie. Which was a bit scary. First, while waiting for Ying, I saw Sarene at the MRT station. Then at Century square, the Sarah from TKMC. While going up the escalator at TM, I saw Hazel. Then while waiting for SP and Ying outside the toilet..we saw HuiQi and OYC. They were walking together. I think I also saw Yan Ying..but I'm not too sure....or was it only HuiQi and OYC...Then we saw ShiRong shopping alone(dot dot dot). Then I think we saw some other Tksian..I'm not so sure of his name..but whatever it is..it's a bit scary la...lol...

Another imporatnt thing: I started excercising after months upon months of slack. Ran 4.8 today and came home sweating like a pig. Gota exercise more now..i really need that silver for NAPFA..and Collosuem is comming soon too...which means even more training.

Perk You! Perk Me!

Got into Biz Club after service learning decided to abandon me. And Biz club is "infested" with TKsians! In total I counted at least 10...and plus our seniors, 14. Biz club is actually not a slcak CCA cuz if you wana be enthu..you will have to be very enthu...sometimes even getting yourself into some shit if your're not careful. Ask JianXin...poor guy has to "jaga" Perkafe everyday and close shop on time and do the cleaning up everyday. And we are signing up for this..errr...promotional campaign thingy...and fellow TK-Muggers cum "sai kang-ers" and I have signed up to do the most "sai kang" task in the whole event. Mini-Banners. To be designed using...IT...more like Microsoft paint and photoshop...and we're supposed to paste them all over school. Besides, according to the "language experts" form 501, I have found that Biz Club people have committed even more gross spelling errors than I did. Take "mend the booth"for insance. In this case it means "jaga the booth". But if literally read, it means, "fix the booth cuz its broken."

ZhiJun was a former member of 07S501 before he went to change his subject combi. Some people beleive that he's aimless and is only concerned about scoring goals on the soccer pitch.

Personally, I think I'm even more aimless. Cuz I'm not even concerned about scoring goals and shooting balls. I am mugging aimlessly for like 4 years and 4 months? Last time i was afraid of failing and getting demoted to Normal. Now I'm even more petrified about getting retained. my only goals seem only to be passing my promos. Thats even worse than ZhiJun cuz I have been mugging aimlessly for 3 years without even feeling it. =(
