Leon's Birthday Presents:In case you were wondering what we got Leon ( aka So-and-So) we have got him the following....
A pack of poker cards with kiRA design,
A pack of disposable ..errrr...undergarment...wrapped in duno how many layers of newspaper. ( we wanted to buy condoms initially but too disgusting la..)
And a Pelican laundry basket from IKEA.
His reaction unwrapping the newspapers was damn funny...can't resit laughing from a far....and everyone thought I was crazy....=)
NSES(National School Entrepreneurship Sumit) @ SMU
Very crappy afternoon spent at SMU today. Had brunch(consisting of just crysentanem tea cuz everything was damn ex) at Suntec with Mabel, SiuYin Zimin and JiaXian. I went late cuz of my Piano lesson but they were very easy to spot cuz everyone was in black. Then went to call up Daniel and EC who were presumeably asleep. Daniel got woken up finally with the 3rd call from JX while EC also got awoken by my 2nd call. Daneil came eventually but stupid EC said he was too lazy to get up so he continued to spend time with Z Monster.
Supposed to find Geraldine at Suntec before heading off to SMU....which turned out to be easier than expected cuz we just bumped into a short "lady" who shrieked at the sight of us...aparently Geraldine can dress like a mature young lady....amazing!
Met up with Jack and Daniel at SMU and saw some booths which were quite interesting.

The talks were on the whole not very interesting but there are some parts which really got our attention:
There was thid kid from Primary school who can speak like a JC student doing OP! Seriously, the way he spoke was DAMN freaking good! Even better than some of the JC speakers. Gosh! Duno which JC that guy attended his previous life..his speech is confrim EE (Exceeeding Expectation). OP sure get A lor..
We also saw this Zhiyang look-alike who has a very high pitched voice. He sounds a bit like a woman..trust me...Jurong JC.
JJC has got to have one of the BEST BizClubs in Singapore. They not only run a cafe in school but a, Cookie Cafe( in addition to the first) , a state of the art Boutique (selling JJC brand shirts and clothing and snacks) and BEST of all, a LAN SHOP! seriously! a LAN SHOP! In SCHOOL!(they all it the E-room or something..) And they actually have DOTA training for girls too! OH MY GOSH! I think Miss Lai would freak out at the idea of having a LAN shop in MJ la...and MJ is just too small to house so many shops. Now we really know how much we have to do for Biz Club....haiz...=(
Funeral Service.
There was also this 19 year old speaker who runs a funeral parlour business and is earning..err...quite alot? Given that he already has a client waiting for him after his speech? His speech was damn funny and he was really interesting. Best of all, he got 38 points for O levels and he went into the business soon after. His company is also one of the few in Singapore to offer air-con Coffins! Woah! Even die already still can enjoy air-con..not bad eh? And he even showed us his website, which "teaches" people how to do a proper funeral....=)
After the seminar, I can't help but agree that we and our juniors have ALOT to do to catch up with what other Biz clubs are doing. Biz Club Boleh!
