Mugger Feet Walk China 2008 Part 4(Makan issue)SweetTalk =D
SweetTalk as in Bubble Tea. Not literally okay..=DBubble tea is only available warm or hot here this season. (You'll be nuts ask for ice. You'll freeze.) And I ordered the usual- Honey Milk Tea. Overall taste? Very Nice! Actually better than SweetTalk cuz they always like to give alot of ice which dilutes the flavour. So next time order your bubble tea without ice!=) haha!Anyways, flavours are limited in winter cuz the temperature is like....(You can use the balcony as your fridge!) So for people like Mabel whose usual is Chocs-Ice-Blend....too bad! haha! Get some hot tea or fruit tea.=DAnd speaking of fruit tea....Fruit tea here comes in infinite number of permutations. And most permutations are quite decent. But Durian is usually unavaiale in most stores and jackfruit is non-existant. Most common is orange with lemon. Nice! =) Very good for a dry throat too!Wasabi Sauce =DSome crazy fad that developed recently not only in Shanghai cooking, but also H0ngKong cooking. Basically chefs use this in cooking red meat. I tried ordering "Black pepper beef cubes with wasabi suace" (For those whoe dont eat beef, they also come with other red meat e.g lamb,ostrich) And the taste is like WTF!!!! You just feel damn shiok in 1 second and f***ing lousy in the other. It's like a dose of super strong vodka. Very mixed reaction and very interesting taste. Coming soon to your nearest Singapore restaurant. =)Weather Report(updated):We just had a cold front which caused outside temperatures (and in my case, inside as well) plummet to ZERO deg or below. (F***ing heater just will not work). Jiu Ming!!! =( OMG! Don't you just love this! Just bought this...thing..which bascially functions like your normal fan in Singapore...just that instead of wind, if blasts heat! WooHoo!!!!=) And it's frikkin cheap!
