Mugger Feet Walk China Part 3-5

Bamboo forest...nice eh?
Part 3-4
For those who wondered why I have not blogged for the past 2 days, I was away in some ulu place in China with access to friendster but not Blogger. (This explains how I dropped the comments) As you know, 21st century Chinese people are pampered and they enjoy 5 day work-weeks. Contrary to the 7 day work-weeks suffered by MJC students. Anyway, some manager friend of my father's dragged my family and a few others to some ulu village place in Zhejiang(i think so...) province. And we were taken to this bamboo forest which is really huge..and specatcular. You actually have bamboo trees growing just inches away from each other. So thick is the forest there that it blocks out the sunlight and when you look up, all you see is (green in summer) green with a shade of orange. And best of all, the air there is free of all the whatever bullshit (carbon monoxide, sulphur dioxide,Ammoniumfloro something...)
Thought I was enjoying myself? Excluding the bamboo scenery, no.
Thanks to all the drinking and smoking culture that has gotten into the minds of the mainland Chinese, I was forced to drink beer. And i drank 3 whole glasses and even when I was paritally intoxicated by my very weak resistence to alcohol, I was still fed wih more. And I was lke: Get a life! Can't they bloody hell just spare me?Too much alcohol is bad for you! And they are just bloody hell addicted to cigarettes!

Now, the first thing I want the Chinese govenrment to do is not to grant us democracy or human rights or any of the bullshit CSE has been discussing, but to just inject into them some f***ing form of civilisation and moral values and stop them from being a bloody burden to society! And best still, ban cigarettes and beer! Those stuff are just trash!

And as for the food, dont' talk about it. First, we have stewed rabbit (Not good) and some sparrow(Yuck). Then have some wild snail(Oh my sky). By the time these 3 dishes where served, I was close to puking. Just as I was about to turn vegetarian, they served some wild bamboo. (some kind of bamboo that grow in the water and they plucked it from the polluted drain outside) This is bad. But it's not the worst. The highlight should be the wild duck (That just flew in from Tsingdao=H5N1 hotbed) And I was only told of it's origin after I took my first bite! Oh my God! I'm soooo sorry Miss Lai! If you see the headline: Meridian Student down with H5N1, that'll be me!
For those o you who wondered how I dropped the comments, I dropped them from an internet cafe just below my hotel. (The hotel is evn worser then Hotel81. They provide free "contraceptives" ...you get the picture...)

Part5:
Got to work today, so did'nt do much. I'll post some pics if I have the permission to do so.
Anyway, got to walk in the park in the city centre of QingPu where I got to snap some pics. I'll get to go to the main office in downtown Shanghai tommorow or Wedneday, so I'll see err....what boss ask me to do lor..XD

Caught some Ah Pek playing chess.....

And some aunties and small kid watching the show...

Perfect place to slack after work XD
