Mugger Feet Walk China Part 1-2:
Part1:
Before I begin, let me thank Clarice,Leon, Mabel and Siyi for "sending" me off at Changi. Probably one of the funniest send-offs I've ever experienced but I totally enjoyed it. =) Thankyou!
Above:playing err....cards? @ de airport?
Below:poor clairce..mugging like no one's business..
Anyways, the flight on China Eastern to Shanghai was much better than the flight I took 4 years ago. First of all, the plane was new and the seat are considerably wider. And the food as not too foul tasting..XD

The only down side of their hardware is that they don't have Personal TVs like those on SIA. But to the average mugger, who cares? When you have a pile of mugging material with you.
The only thing that bothered me throughout the journey was not the quality of service but the quality of passengers. Even before boarding, I had a pre-taste of what was to come when I bumped into this bucnh of China-men smoking in the airport toilet in Singapore. And I was giving them this "WTF!"face cuz we all know smoking is banned in Changi's toilets. And their behaviour on the plane was worse. When the stewardess told them to stow their tables during take-off, they blatently ignored her and made a huge fuss over the matter. I really pity the stewardesses. All the while they have been trying to keep their cool while facing such unreasonable passengers.

Part2:
In my opinion, Shanghai is this really whacky and crazy place that is extremely huge. First of all, my trip from the airport to my apartment is 90mins. Not because of the traffic( cuz it was 11pm and most people are Zzzz-ing..) but the distance is so freakin huge. The airport is at the east end of Shanghai while my apartment is at a suburb in the west and the distance to travel is 80km. That's double the distance from Changi to Tuas!
As of my "new neighbourhood" it's located in QingPu a New Town in Shanghai. And when I say new, it's really new. The whole town is like this scaled up version of Punggol, minus the MRT. They have lots of aparments and condos which are pretty cheap if you peg them against Singapore prices. They have a central mall like Tampines which is really big but rather useless, like Compass Point. The only useful part of the mall is this hypermart that sells everything. From TVs to CDs, to makan to err...everything la...
Service there is actually quite good. The sales take full initiative to lure guests to their shops. For example, after buying some makan stuff from the hypermart, I got lured to this CD shop where I bought a 五月天 album and a 'Secret' the movie. The sales even gave me a JayChou poster which is OMG! So nice la!

Oh..and they sell drinks in retro glass bottles! Mirinda Orange juice. Juz change de 'i' and u get.....u noe...black colour one...Miranda! (random comment...)
As for my work, I shall elaborate them in my next post cuz I also duno much about what I'm doing and some details cannot be released.
As for my house do refer to the tap in the picture above. This tap is as irritating as the Perkafe one cuz it splashes very easily and the water is SUPER freezing. Get splashed and you are gona freeze like no one's business. House is no tbad la. TV got 60 over chanels all frm mainland China. No CNA and no TVB but the programmes are ok la...most surprisingly, there is NO PROPAGANDA at all! For example, during the sports news, China lost to Taiwan in this errr....baseball match or was it Soccer? And surprisingly, there were no hard feelings broadcasted. Infact, the commentator even commented that the Chinese players lack skill and should learn from the Taiwanese. Really funny la...
Currenly chatting with Mabel and Geraldine on MSN...so wierd la...haha! Blog soon!

4 those who tagged, i cant reply ur tags cuz my blog is being blocked by de authorities..XD paiseh!
