Gift and Stationary Trade Fair Singapore 2007: This was our 2nd Biz Club field trip since 2005 as well as our second this year. What happened was that we were taken to this trade show thingy to watch people....trade la... The talk made by this really funny business person who talked about managing and sustaining your business. Though most of the content was relevent only to large formal cooperations, there are some lessons to be learnt by us. To keep customers, we should: 1.Sustain our standard of service 2.Rmain accountable to your customers. 3.Maintain trust betweeen you and your customers. And we have not been doing some of these things...XD
Highlights: The humungous printer that made the cute and innocent Geraldine go"WAAAH!"=) The heaps of soft toys. There were also lots of free goodies. Including a heap of sample badges from various schools and cooperations. I took a starhub badge which looked rather weird. As well as FREE POPCORN with unlimited servings! Whats more, the popcorn machine costs $100 per hour to rent, cuz it's industrial scale...yea..not for the small small cheapo Paser Malam. And it really tastes alot different from other popcorn. The flavourings are very evenly mixed, so you won't get your one piece sweet one piece no taste.=) We also searched for suppliers for our Biz Club T-shirt, which turned quite fruitful. We shortlisted 3 possible providers. One of them even allowed us to have unlimited number colours on the shirt whil paying only $15. Biz Club members however, will have to wait for some time for their shirts cuz we are still in the preliminary stages of the shirt...any details, ask HR dpt. XD
Oh btw..SiuYin is not my daughter...so don't go and anyhow say say...OR ELSE!
