Yakult Factory VisitBiz club finally had its first field trip! To...Yakult Factory! The bus ride itself was already interesting. Fist, we had a little insight to Biz Club's Holy Man, Moses, who is nothing but a genius. he doe'nt need to study for any tests cuz he just passes them effortlessly with flying colours. Then I got...err...placed in the limelight?...by my J2 Seniors who keep calling me Guang Liang even though I look totally different from him. LoLs...but they were like super funny..We were first introduced to the bacteria inside the Yakult as well as the business strategies of Yakult. Much to our surprise, there are actually many things which we don't know about Yakult. Here's a variety:1.Singapore Yakult ias the only Yakult in the world that has more than 1 flavour.2.Yakult packaging is not always red. Thai Yakult is blue.3.Yakult manufactures their own brand of healthy instant noodles(Only available in Japan) With 4 different flavours. 4.Yakult has their own pharmaceutical department. Makes lots of wonderfully delicious medicine.( Yakult digestion powder..very tasty..XD)( only available in Japan)5.Yakult also makes their own brand of skin care products. (Imagine splashing Yakult all over your face for a facial! dots...)( Again..only available in Japan)6.Singapore Yakult bottles are larger then the "original" bottles. Singapore's contain 100ml. The "original" ones carry only 65ml.7.Yakult can be found as far as the UK and Brazil. (Sexy Yakult chiobu's by the beach!)8. Most countries have Yakult aunties(e.g Japan, Korea). ( Singapore does not...Brazil also does'nt..they employ chiobu's instead.)9.Yakult almsot got phased out by Vitagen when they first invested in Singapore.10. Yakult is good for you.Then we were shown the "ingrediants in our Yakult( after drinking our complementary bottle). The bacteria. It looked like some transparent jelly moving about...much to the disgust of some of us...=)
Half Drunken Yakult... We then got a tour of the place, hosted by this very funny Uncle who told us his "life story" about studying and chasing girlfriend. His advice, " Don't chase now..wait till university." Anyway, the factory itself is very interesting. Especially when you see Yakult Bottles whizzing around. (As well as the poor packing auntie..tour guide uncle says it's good excercise...can make your butt bigger..lol!) Anyway, all I can say is that Yakult is indeed an interesting drink with alot of things which muggles like us don't know. lols...Election Special:
