Orientation Mood! pArt 4 (Updated) We had an OG outing cum OG nite at TJ today. And I did enjoy myself for the first time in these 4 days. The high-ness was really overwhelming. But I have already made up my mind about submitting the appeal form. I will do so on Monday first thing that day. After ranting so much yesterday, I shall give a short clear and rational expalnation to why I am appealing back. Provided I succed, that is..
1. TJ expects me to Mug ALOT( more than MJ but that's still okay..) and "play"( Now thats NOT Okay..) 2.The expectations in TJ are exceeding what I can handle. MJ pushed me to breaking point and TJ pushed me beyond breaking point. Just look at the notes! 3.Although TJ people are very friendly in general, they are seldom seen mugging together and some of them often like to deceive their mug-mates by acting slack. I am a person who needs social support in terms of mugging. And i doubt I may come across such support. especially because my class is going to have alot of PRC people cuz I am taking China studies. 4.The way teachers teach. According to ALL seniors I know, TJ teachers expect you to know the stuff quickly without much detailed explanation. But I am not that smart. Furthermore, if everyone get's the concepts and I don't, I will probably become the dumbess in class. 5.The notes in TJ are really good. Some are better than MJ. But when mugging, much of the notes need to be digested. They are like the "brown rice" of mugging materials. MJ notes are processed notes and they are easier to digest cuz they are the "white rice" of mugging material. You should be smart enough to know that white rice tastes better than brown rice. I would like to clarify that TJ is not a bad place if you can cope( contrary to what mjcian said) as I can see people coping very well there. There are also alot of friendly people. Though i must admit there are also lot of lone muggers. But it is a bad place to be if your intelligence is not "up to standard", like me. And my decision has NOTHING to do with orientation, though I really did not enjoy the begining of it. Anyway, I'm very sorry to all people in TJ who have done their best to help me along. I really appreciated your effort but I'm just too dumb..yeah...I know I'm a dumbass... Anyway, I hope I do get accepted back in MJ, though the admission person at MJ was not very optimistic of me getting back because my appeal seems very late. So my chances are like 55% only. Worse come to worse, I'll just try my best to cope with the changes and see what is coming my way. Most importantly, I must put my mugging desires as first priority.
Anyway,some happy stuff that happened at TJ today: Today was our OG outing! And we went to Marina for gaming session cum playing pool. Not very surprisingly, T-muggers are not only good at mugging. They are also very pro at gaming. Needless to say pool. But I did have a good time today, cuz many people opened up themselves to accept us second intakers.
Some announcments: To MJC 07S501(PAE) There will be an OG outing coming Friday at 1pm. Meeting place ant MJC side gte Bus stop. We will be having lunch at IKEA then going to Pasir Ris park for some WnW(Wet n Wild) and some FITS( Fun In The Sun). Please bring along extra clothes if you need to.
