Hong Kong: You got Pressure I NO Pressure! 你有压力我没压力!!2o06 is the very pressurized year for Hong Kong. This year like alot of people all got pressure...like Bus uncle...World cup Uncle..MTR uncle...wadever...government also got alot of pressure from people over alot of stuff...like the star ferry...demand for lower tax(even though very cheap..)..bla bla.... Everyone all feel very the stressed and the travellers all kena infected by it.....You can feel it just by taking the MTRNgong Ping 360.....

Alot of People!!

A really long span over open water. Its a bit scary if you try to look down. Remember to be prepared to be swayed by the wind during this section. The wind is very strong...

A long hiking path to Tower3. You can actually use the path if you want. Its a very tiring walk if you do so.

Cable car and Buddah. Very misty.....XP

=D 还有什么好讲...
Some people taking pictures. So I went to shoot them...=)
The very enlightening way.... Go walk walk can enlighten..

The buddah very tall le...long way up...walk until leg pain...
They also have this path of enlightenment which is about 15 minutes walk away. You will pass by a small cafe along the way and some deserted hostels.

Deserted hostel....long time no one use liao...

It's called "fai wood"( i think it means happy) valley...Does it look happy to you?

Path of enlightenment. Walk around the pillars and you will get what I mean... You also get a view of Southern Lantau Island which is largely undeveloped. This is what Hong Kong's so special. It takes less than an hour from the city to find total solidity and peace.
Pheonix Mountain: They say can see very nice sunrise from there. Though several people have died climbing it...
Really mean 叔巴士啊叔s =(

Hong Kong got alot of Bus Uncles..the very rude kind. Some days ago on a KMB bus, bus number A34, the following happened. I have translated them into English...I mean Singlish for easy understanding
Starring:
Bus Driver as Bus Uncle,巴士啊叔
Bus Uncle: (anounces into the microphone..)Passengers! Go remove the luggage from the wheel-chair park and put them on the luggage rack!!
Passengers:(silence)
Uncle: OIY!!! Passengers one of you go and put your luggage back on the luggage rack! if not I dun drive the bus!
Auntie: (loudly)What is this?! Like I am the one isit...
Bus Uncle: Passengers go take the baggage or I really stop the bus!!! ( the Bus Uncle then parked the bus in the extreme left lane of the Highway, causing a mini-traffic jam)
It was only some time later when someone got really fed up and moved the luggage into the rack. While I, who was sitting comfortably on the upper deck, leisurly called the KMB Customer Service Hotline to give this Uncle a very nice early Chirstmas present. Hopefully the warning letter from his boss should work! =) Complaining is the favourite activity of Hong Kongers ...so...must grab every opportunity to do so! Eh...Singaporeans must also do like this also, even though here must pay the extra Service Charge and GST.

KCR Cable Vision.
KCR now provides on-board Cable TV. Which means you can forget about falling asleep on-board. How "nice". YAwns...=O

Really lucky to catch a rather empty train. You can forget about finding a seat during rush hour.
Hong Kong: Asia's World City
Yeah...like all the other city not global lidat...XP Hong Kong need to upgrade la..like Singapore lidat...upgrade until all the people treat stress like nothing lidat..."no need complain no need stress!"

2 IFC, Hing Kong's tallest building. The mall is on the first few floors is like super POSH. (I have not tried shopping inside cuz shopping very sian but it looks very posh...really)The decor is like so luxury plus high-tech. Food inside is more economical than I thought. So try to makan there. You get a full sea view and need not pay more for it.

The new Central Pier

The new Central Pier is like very "Disneyland" It looks more like some Disney Branch on Hong Kong Island. It looks like a fake preserved building. Someday the Governement should really reconstruct the old pier (exact copy with the original clock) somewhere. Symbols of Hong Kong must not be disturbed at all costs. They are the love of all residents and no one wants any one of them gone.

A junk cruises along Victoria harbour in the setting sun....

Star Ferries

Tsim Sa Tsui Pier at night....

Former Tsim Sa Tsui Terminus Clock-Tower. I heard that they are trying to re-install the bells..

A very Small Santa...XDXD
When eating, must eat properly. Don't eat until choke and die~Grandmothers

Wah...eat very fast hor....Hong Kong got alot of place to eat one. So remember to spare alot of time to makan! If cannot...you can always wolf your way through. No need to care about all the ettiquite all that bullshit. We not British lidat care about manners and watsoever.. So....dun need to care la... 不用烦啦...

Canteen: This is a great place to makan if you want a good view and food for a cheap price. Price is slightly higher than most fastfood outlets in Hong Kong but you gat in return good quality food( all super fresh ingrediants..) and a View! And best of all, No Service charge or GST. They don't exist.

C!ty'Super! This mega store sells virtually anything. From makan to gifts. Take some time to shop and you end up eating as well. Safe some space in your wallet. Food is quite expensive there.

Roast Pig. Very nice and tasty. Very imporatant element in a banquet. Cannot eat too much or u will kena the err...heatiness? 上火啦...知道吗?

奇华饼家: No need to mention. Ask Mr Tsang and he will tell you...the TVB one..

nah...you see...the guy in the right....
Korea.....More like a Public Park

Looks like Korea right? This place is actually a public park, located right outside Diamond Hill MTR station. Admission is absolutly free so you don't need to worry about spending $$. See..Government not always as bad as you think. Infact, I think it's really nice of them. Thankyou Donald Tsang! We will vote for you!....yeah right...;-)

Council Kbox GatheringHolidays are sian. Especially when the Os are over. You suddenly feel very empty and unstudied because studying has been your life for the past 2 years. And there is not better way to release all the sianess by going Kbox and singing to hearts content. Attendance was slightly below expectations because some of us had to work. ( only Chermaine,Mark,KokTong n meehan turned up) That was good. Why? Because with lesser people, we can sing more! logic right? So we sing until we became like damn high lidat lor. Especially when we sing "lian ai ING" and " Get HIGH" YAY!! Jump on sofa! And best of all, it cost us only $5.70 each overall, along with the food and drinks! It was like a great bargain! Wait...it was only after Chermaine subscribe for her membership then so cheap one le...oh...then...err..Thankyou Chermaine!! Thankyou for saving my wallet!! And thankyou MeeHan!! For making me buy you birthday present!!!( which I too lazy to buy)...Ok la...you want hat right?..I go China buy the pirated one for you okay? =) wahaha!Punggol 53210Condo names are getting more and more posh and cheem, even a bit senseless. For example, in Katong we, have: Posh Grove,Esta,Chamberlodge,Costa De Azure...( my spelling may be wrong) And that does not end with the private ones. HDB condo names are getting more and more high-class, like Chantitli Rise( I only know the rising part, what's Chantitli anyway???) Recently I went to Punggol to visit some chum of mine and his HDB condo was called...err..Geendale field??? Edgedale field?? or somthing like that. As long as the name very "greeny"," gardeny" and very ang mo la. What on earth has that got to do with Punggol? Does ang mo name sound very high-class or does it make us feel more like our"ahem" "knowledgeable" foreign talents? Or does French names make you feel more artistic even a bit fleshy?? Ai...duno la...let the developers decide la...maybe they are getting smarter and smarter since they must be part of the elite. Non-elite people from non-elite schools ar...we must get out of their elite uncaring face la..we just "no match" la...( yeah right! we the non-elites are more humane! be proud of it!) =)Anyway here are some pics to show the "poshness" of modern HDB condos. Great photography of Punggol
