Last Day of School Ok, so I'm not supposed to blog at this point of time. But I just feel like venting some"fire" out. Anyway, I am about to talk rubbish again yeah, so just ignore the next paragraph. The finalized prelim results was ugly. It just seemed like I could simply throw all my thoughts of going TJ for first three months out of the window. And this is not the worst part. The worst is that majority of my close freinds or people I know very well are either going to TJ or Poly. This leaves no one to go MJ( the only college in my range) with me! What the Hell!!! My first three months are like going to suck! Haiz...what have I got to say...If I opt for TJ it would be like SUPER risky cuz I'm like just right at the brink of being rejected. Then if I don't choose MJ as my first choice, they will like raise the standard until like damn high until I won't qualify.(And end up in some shit skool) Sigh..
Ok...now DON"T ignore this paragraph.... It's the lst time we are having lessons in 4B classroom! A wonderful ending to 2 wonderful years together!! We will miss each other forever no matter what!! Disgusting practicals with oxidising agents... Boring classes writing compo Impressive noticeboard The phtographic people...Afiq... The laughing people...=) The sleepy morning hours... People one must NEVER forget!!=)

Here I am to complain again...haiz...but for one last time. This will be my last post before Os. But I will occasioanally pop in to check for tags. So juz tag if u wan la...haha
Oct 11 Anyway, Shuhuan turned 16 last Wed. Happy Birthday! Hope you liked the cake we bought you!! Yeah, the cake was nice lor. It was like this thick, enormous chocolate cream cake and we fed everyone in class with giagantic slices of cake. Especially Shuhuan and Mrs Chee. They were like "complaining" about how heavy the cake was lor...so funny lor..
TJ Open House TJ was by far the most liveley campus i have ever been to. Its like, even before you enter the campus they will be like"WELCOME TO TJ!!!!!!!" Everyone seems to be in a great mood. I mean, like all my seniors there were all like so =) lor. Even RongXin she last time so "quai" also now look like more extrovert than before. They have like milllions of subject combinations until you are spoilt for choice. i just can't wait to get in! But the problem is that my Prelim results don't seem to take me anywhere. Plus many people there are like super crazy. They can get straight A's without studying so much! i really wonder how on earht i can prevent myself from falling to the bottom of the cohort.
MJ Open House Nothing much to say. MJ is an exact JC version of TK. Everything in the campus is almost the same as TK except that everything there is blue and grey and everything in TK is green and orange. They have a larger version of the rotunda( duno wat they call it..) They have a longer version of our suspension bridge and a blue colour version of our canteen. Everything is just scaled up or blu-ified. The life there is also TK style. Teachers push you, spoonfeed you, care for you, work 24-7 for the sake of you...you know..all that...MJ is also very far. Takes me 1 hr to get there. Sigh...My seniors there also complained about how"no life" life is there. Everything there is like our TK policy...study...study x2....
Conclusion: JC life is stressful and torturous and lifeless. BUT if you survive...conratulations..you have lived through the longest torture of your life. =)

BURP!! Destressing is great when u hav choc cookies and Msn Live messenger!
Ok, sorry for ranting so much about my"abysmal"results on my previous post. I'm considered "lucky" my L1R5 is not TOO bad.Ok, so don't get angry with me. There's still hope! They will moderate! Don't worry!=)
Anyway, if your're interested in finding a job during firstn 3 months, here're some options:
The Makan show Host : 4B Makan Tour By:Louis,SiewMin,ChangLing,Gavin,Erlina,Jonathan,Kathy,WeiQi,ShuHuan,Darren,Pris,Peizhen, and ofcourse, yours truly...
Katong Laksa: Our first stop takes us to the Katong Laksa shop(forgot the name...shit..) near the Roxy Square over-head bridge. Our tour guide for the day is Chia Louis, who will also kindly show us his former primary school along the way. The Laksa was incredulous as it contains the wonderful flavours of Katong and the ingrediants were extremely fresh. It is by far...(ok...i better shutup..i noe that formal English accent is annoying..) Anyway, the laksa was seriously good. Although I thought it would be vetter if it were more spicy. Somehow, Kat could'nt stand the taste of the vegetable( i think it was presley) that was sprinkled over the noodles so she almost puked. When most of us have finished eating, we got quite "wu liao" perhaps because we still had an hour before we had go back school for chem lessons. So ShuHuan started showing us the pictures she distorted with her handphone. It was like soooo hilarious. Then she started taking pictures of us,like Gavin and started to distort them. It was quite cute, especially for the one with the alien look.
Awfully Chocolate: Our second stop. This is where one can find excellent chocolate ice-cream at an"economical" price.( quite ex actually, $3 for a few scoops) But the spoons they used were really cute. They were like small little yellow spoons which looked like some kid's toy. The container, was even better. It was like this little paper box that resembled a bucket. Best of all, was that we got to see how people act cute. Like WeiQi and Peizhen, who tried to squeeze themselves into those kiddy rides outside. So lame lor, even though they are"small" does'nt mean that they small enough to squeeze into somthing so small!
The Shit: Not a food item. Gavin became known as the "shit" today. I think it was something he said that made him a "shit" .On the way back,on the bus, the Shuhuan bit the "shit". Taste? Ask her yourself!
Have you considered? Makan show host fun or not? If not fun still have more choice!
SUPER RAFFLES JUNIOR COLLEGE (SRJC) During my free time, I actually got the opportunity to visit such and insituiton. This college offers a great learning experience. With its location between SengKang and Serangoon, it is extremely accessible from all parts of Singapore. The aims of setting up such an insitution was to allow people whose talent have not been recognised during their Prelims a chance at showing themselves. Best of all, their cut-off L1R5 is very big. 20+ I think? When I got to interview some of the students there, many felt that pragmatism in education is indeed an essential for success. They also expressed their views on formal education. One student commented on Physics and maths: "Why must study physics?! Ai....Who the hell will want to bother how light moves?! Not even our problem lor! U look at your Amaths! Draw duno wat stupid graph! Curve lik duno wat.Lame sia! Then trigo ar, like..." They are also very proud of their school name! Even though many of their talents have not been recognised by the current education system they believe that they one day will succeed. Indeed, many of their senios have performed exceptionally well in society. Many have become successful entrepreneurs or businessmen. Infact, the name SUPER RAFLLES can show us how much better many of their graduates have surpassed their counterparts from the famous Raffles JC.Showing how"SUPER" they are.
So how? convinced? SRJC good hor...Actually, this college does'nt exist. (It actually means Serangoon JC...yes..the "lan" one. The excerpt is from someone else...u noe...) But, so what if you don't get into a good JC? It is only 2 years and 2 years is only a small part of your life. Even the short 4 years in TK is short. Imagine 2? The most important is your future job and life. If the main road is inaccessible, you can always try the street, or even the alley. As long as it is morally corrrect, and it leads you to your goal, it's a plausible route. Even if you have to work as a Makan show host or sell ice-cream at haagen daz, there is still chance for you to persue your own dreams. The only way is to walk on...
