Saturday:
I could'nt even sleep the whole night for some reason. It was 0530. No point sleeping since I will be waking up in 30mins time. I was supposed to have Physics at 0730. Feeling empty, I decided to go school early. I stopped at 7 Eleven to grab a bite. Cup Noodles. Those filthy things that you eat out of a cup. The flavour was Laksa but it did'nt taste anywhere near Laksa. the noodles were also very hard. Apparently, the water was not hot enough. All seemed to go routinely just like any boring and monotonous morning.
The digital bell sound alerted the coming of another customer. Her arrival caught my attention, especially the jade green colour of her skirt. She was from TK. The badge on her School Tee said it all. And her black coloured thick glasses identified her as YanYan.I gave her a wave and coninued with my noodles. I did'nt take any notice of her after that. However, what happened next would definatley involve me.
The doors of the shop swung open again. He was tall, much bigger built than me and was wearing a TK uniform. His face looked "black".I sensed fury. " Why?! Can't You just listen $#%...#^**?!?!"
This was followed by her soft reply,"Cannot ar?"
"****!!!u noe u really make me feel lik whacking somting!!"
"Jian Hua, I noe how you feel but.."
"But wat but!! U happy la! Let me*** lidat!"
"No..."
"****!! la..."
From the corner of my eye, I saw him raising his hand and aiming for her CupNoodles.
PIAK! SPLASH!
This was followed by hot soup and cup noodles flying across the store and into my face.There was also soup all over the floor. The digital bell souded again. He had left.
The aftermath was clear. " Sorry about that. He's always lidat...So so sorry..." she said.
"Nevermind...." I mumbled in reply.
She and the cashier helped attend to the mess on me. At least the soup was not boiling as the water was not hot. I wanted to ask YanYan who that guy was. However, after seeing her painful smile as she got up, I decided not to. I knew very clearly it was a relationship gone wrong.
However, the incident did reminded me of things.
Some boys are really treating their girlfriends like nothing. Think about how the other party feels?
To all guys: if you find that "she" does not seem to like you or you think the relationship is going nowhere,please, don't make things worse for everyone. I don't think you want the person you really love to get hurt...
